Bela Lugosi Daylily

High performing daylily in a deep and dramatic color.
Named for the actor who famously played Dracula, the Bela Lugosi Daylily brings dark and brooding color and plenty of glamour. This award-winning purple variety is one of the darkest on the market, and, unlike some purple daylilies, it isn't prone to fading in sunlight. As a semi-evergreen hemerocallis, this plant features deep green foliage that acts like an evergreen in most frost-free climates, and is slow to die back to dormancy in northern climates. Heavily budded and high-flowering, Bela Legosi gives a classic and gripping performance all season long.
