Planting Instructions: Plant in partial shade for the best results. Tubers should be planted about 1.5'' (4cm) deep and completely covered by soil to remain moist for good sprouting. Optimal temperature is between 20-30 degrees Celsius. If planting in a pot, plant 2-3 tubers in a 7-8'' pot.
Soil Requirements: Medium moisture and well drained, rich soil.

So, they don't need to be planted in fall-in fact, these tropical flowers won't be able to withstand winter in most American locations. The best time to plant pink Siam tulips is in the spring, so that you can enjoy the big, bright pink Siam flower blooms in the summer before winterizing.

Where is the best place to plant Curcuma alismatifolia?

You can plant the summer tulip in the sun or the shade in well-draining soil. If you've planted the Siam tulip bulb in the sun, then it's best to keep the soil lightly moist.

Do Siam tulips require any winter care?

If you have warmer winters, you can keep Siam tulips outdoors. If not, it is best to bring Curcuma alismatifolia indoors before the first frost.
